Stop The HIT Coalition Statement on passage of the 2017 American Health Care Act in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The Stop The HIT Coalition, which represents millions of small business owners, their employees and the self-employed, issued the following statement following passage of the American Health Care Act in the U.S. House of Representatives.
“We applaud the U.S. House of Representatives for voting today to immediately and permanently repeal the Health Insurance Tax (HIT) as part of the American Health Care Act (AHCA). This is a critical step towards providing relief to the millions of hardworking Americans who are forced to pay higher premiums as a result of the HIT. We urge members of the U.S. Senate to join their colleagues in the House by voting to repeal the HIT now, once and for all.”
